Terms and Conditions


Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the www.severnvp.co.uk website (the “Service”) operated by Severn Veterinary Physiotherapy.


Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.


By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.


Severn Veterinary Physiotherapy is the trading name for Emily Cooke. All pictures, logos and information on the website are the property of Emily Cooke and may not be used unless agreed by Emily Cooke.


By placing an appointment or accepting a quote, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.


Any quotation is valid for 30 days from its date, unless previously withdrawn by Emily Cooke.



Charges

  • By booking an appointment online, via phone or email and accepting a quote given you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed. Any quotation given will be valid for 30 days from the date given, unless previously withdrawn by Emily Cooke. All charges must be paid prior to or at the time of service unless otherwise arranged between Emily Cooke and the client. Guidelines for treatment cost can be found on our website under the "Pricing" page.
  • Clients located within the treatment locations will have to pay an additional travel cost of 45p per additional mile (unless stated otherwise by zone days. The first 20 miles are free for any consultation). If there are multiple clients booked in one location (three or more) there will be no mileage charge. The charges for treatment are those set out on Payment must be received on or before the day of treatment. 
  • Late payment will be charged an additional £5.00 per day on top of the total consultation fee. In the unfortunate event of difficulties paying an outstanding fee, please contact Emily as soon as possible to discuss the circumstances. Please note that we reserve the right to pursue unsettled payments which may include the use of a debt collection service or civil proceedings. In the event of recovering outstanding payments, any additional costs incurred by Severn Veterinary Physiotherapy will be added to the outstanding balance of your account.


Cancellation

  • You are entitled to cancel your services if given in writing and with as much notice as possible. We ask for 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled treatment time. Cancellations or postponements within 48 hours will incur a 50% standard consultation fee. Full payment is required if the appointment is cancelled or postponed within 24 hours of the appointment. Please notify Emily at the earliest convenience to change appointment times.
  • Lateness to an appointment of more than 30 minutes without prior notification will be deemed as a missed appointment and a full consultation fee will apply.



My obligation to you

Severn Veterinary Physiotherapy is dedicated to providing a high quality service whereby the patient's welfare is the priority. Treatment can be refused upon these grounds. Throughout treatment and the services provided I will observe all health and safety rules and regulations whilst ensuring data is treated securely and in accordance with the privacy policy. I will also use my reasonable endeavours to follow by the NAVP code of conduct. 


Your obligation to us

You shall co operate with the therapist in all matters relating to services, including providing us access to the animal, the premises and such equipment and other facilities reasonably required by Emily. You shall also prepare each animal and the premises for the service and supply us with such information as we reasonably require. You should inform us of any health and safety rules and regulations and any other security requirements at the premises. Ensure that any equipment used is in a safe working order. Pay the charges for treatment, together with expenses and VAT as set out in the charges above. If the performance of our obligations under the contract is prevented or delayed by any act or omission by you, we shall not be liable for costs, charges or damages arising from this.


Links to Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Severn Veterinary Physiotherapy. This may also include third-party logos and images. 


Severn Veterinary Physiotherapy has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Severn Veterinary Physiotherapy shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.


We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.



Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.


All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.


Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.


Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.


Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.


By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
